Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Statty at https://getstatty.com (the "Service"), operated by DKLH Services ("we", "us", "our"), a sole proprietorship registered in the Netherlands under KvK number 74855077, with its registered address at Tolstoistraat 22, 1506 RT Zaandam.

By using Statty, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. The Service

Statty is an AI-powered life assessment tool. The Service includes:

  • Life Assessment — a 25-question evaluation across 6 areas (Body, Mind, Social, Money, Discipline, Purpose) producing personalized scores and concrete actions
  • Re-assessment — repeat the assessment every 30 days to track progression
  • Looks module (optional) — AI photo analysis with product recommendations
  • Dashboard — your personal stats, history, and reports
  • Discord community — access to a community of users

We may add, modify, or remove features at any time.

2. Account & access

2.1 Eligibility

  • You must be 16 years or older to use Statty
  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for keeping your account secure

2.2 Authentication

  • Statty uses magic-link login (no passwords)
  • We send login links to your registered email address
  • Anyone with access to your email can access your account — keep your email secure

2.3 One account per person

You may not share, sell, or transfer your account. Lifetime access is tied to one user.

3. Payment & refunds

3.1 Pricing

  • Statty Lifetime: €29.99 one-time payment
  • Price includes VAT where applicable
  • Payment processed by Stripe

3.2 What you get

  • Lifetime access to the Statty platform
  • All current modules (Life Assessment + Looks module)
  • Future updates and new modules at no extra cost
  • Re-assessments every 30 days

3.3 Refunds

Statty is a digital product. Under EU consumer law, digital products generally don't qualify for the standard 14-day right of withdrawal once you start using the Service.

However, we look at every refund request individually:

  • Technical issues(broken assessment, missing report) — we'll fix it or refund you
  • Service not as described— we'll refund you
  • Buyer's remorse— generally not refundable, but contact us and we'll talk

To request a refund: email contact@getstatty.com with your order details.

3.4 Chargebacks

Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in account termination.

4. Your content

4.1 What you provide

You may submit content to Statty, including:

  • Assessment answers
  • Photos (Looks module)
  • Intake details
  • Communications with us

4.2 Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you submit.

4.3 License to operate the Service

You grant us a limited license to use your content solely to operate the Service for you (process assessments, generate reports, store your dashboard).

4.4 We don't sell or share your data

We do not use your content for advertising, AI training (ours or others'), or any purpose unrelated to providing the Service to you. See our Privacy Policy for details.

5. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for illegal purposes
  • Submit harmful, hateful, or illegal content
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or hack the Service
  • Share your account with others
  • Submit photos of other people without their consent
  • Impersonate someone else
  • Resell access or content from the Service

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these rules.

6. AI-generated content disclaimer

Statty uses AI (including Claude by Anthropic) to generate your scores, reports, and recommendations.

Important:

  • AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies
  • Recommendations are suggestions, not professional advice
  • Statty is not a substitute for:
    • Medical advice (consult a doctor)
    • Psychological help (consult a therapist)
    • Financial advice (consult a financial advisor)
    • Legal advice (consult a lawyer)
  • You are responsible for how you act on Statty's recommendations
  • We make no guarantees about outcomes or results

7. Disclaimers & limitations of liability

7.1 Service "as is"

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

7.2 Availability

We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may take the Service down for maintenance, updates, or technical reasons.

7.3 Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Dutch law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (typically €29.99).

We are not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of data, profit, or business
  • Decisions you make based on AI-generated recommendations

These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law (e.g., gross negligence, intentional misconduct, or where consumer law provides stronger protection).

8. Intellectual property

8.1 Statty's IP

The Service, including all software, design, content (other than user-submitted), and "Statty" branding, is owned by DKLH Services. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

8.2 Your IP

You retain all rights to content you submit. We don't claim ownership.

9. Termination

9.1 By you

You may stop using the Service at any time. You may delete your account by emailing contact@getstatty.com.

9.2 By us

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • You request termination
  • We discontinue the Service

If we terminate your account for violations, no refund is due. If we discontinue the Service entirely, you may be eligible for a partial refund.

9.3 Effect of termination

Upon termination:

  • Your access ends
  • Your personal data is deleted within 30 days (see Privacy Policy)
  • Sections of these Terms that should survive termination (IP, liability, disputes) remain in effect

10. Changes to the Service & Terms

10.1 Service changes

We may modify, add, or remove features at any time. We try to give notice for material changes.

10.2 Terms changes

We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the new Terms. If you don't agree, stop using the Service and contact us for a refund (if applicable).

11. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of the Netherlands.

If you're a consumer in the EU, you may also have the right to bring a claim in your country of residence under applicable consumer protection law. You can also use the EU's Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

12. Miscellaneous

12.1 Entire agreement

These Terms (plus the Privacy Policy) are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.

12.2 Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

12.3 No waiver

Failure to enforce a right doesn't waive that right.

12.4 Assignment

You may not assign your rights under these Terms. We may assign ours (e.g., in a business transfer).
